Review: Maybelline Colour Tattoo Eye Shadow

17:38

Hey!
So today I am going to review the Maybelline Colour Tattoo Cream Eye Shadows which I recently bought from Boots.

Each of these cost £5, and they have been referred to as dupes for the MAC paintpots. The two I bought are in the colours 05 Eternal Gold and 35 On and On Bronze.

Left - Eternal Gold             Right - On and On Bronze

What I loved about these products is how buildable they are. They're really easy to work with and the shadow doesn't budge throughout the day! These cream eye shadows say they last up to 24 hours and I have to agree with that. Although I haven't worn them for 24 hours straight I have worn them for a whole day and when it came to removing my makeup the eye shadow was fully intact! These shadows are have a really creamy formula (which makes sense considering that they are in fact cream eye shadows!) and are really pigmented. I am really pleased with the colours I bought as they go really well together.

The shadows are in small glass pots which are quite heavy so I wouldn't really carry them around with me in my purse, but they do look really professional. I have to say, before now I didn't think so much product could fit into such a small glass container! These eye shadows will probably last me a lifetime (unless they dry up!). You definitely get your moneys worth!!

Overall, I am really pleased with these purchases and feel like I got my moneys worth! I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is wanting to try out a drugstore cream eye shadow.
