New year, new goals + a new year's ask

We are now on page 4 out of 365!!! So as we are still near the beginning I thought I would make some new year's resolutions! However, before we commence with the resolutions and that, I thought I would update you on the state of this blog..

Now you might have noticed that I have given Paint The Roses Res quite the revamp over the past couple of days, keeping the same pretty header of course! Well, I much prefer this design and I hope you do too as I have a feeling that it will be staying for quite the while.
My blogging schedule is also going to be another change; so as of now I will be posting on here every 1st and 3rd week of the month on a Sunday. This is because on every 2nd and 4th week of week of every month I will be posting on my new blog, My Imagination on Paper!

When there is a 5th week in a month I will get the week off!

- minor interlude over--now onto the resolutions!-

Drink more water - it's not fun being dehydrated
Read - I already do plenty of this, but this year I would like to dedicate more of my time to reading
Write more - because it's fun
Study smarter not longer - it's a metaphor you see; you put the textbook in front of you, but you don't give it the power to actually teach you anything
Go to bed in the evening and wake up in the morning on a fairly regular basis
Give up excuses
Try to do my best

I have recently found a "New Year's ask" floating about Tumblr. It consists of 45 questions which seems a little too many for me, so I thought I would answer the first 10 in an attempt to reflect on 2014.
