Welcome New Humans
10:43
Over the past few moons, my blogs; both Paint The Roses Red and My Imagination on Paper have received quite the number of page views lately. Well, enough to make me notice. And although the numbers might not seem big compared to some, for my little internet spaces they appear to be quite drastic. So I thought I would write a short blog post welcoming all the new humans to my internet cubes.
Internet cubes; used to be internet corners, but now my small spaces on the internet have become a more prominent part of my life, therefore I am upgrading them to the third dimension. Not literally, although that would be cool, but just in my mind. So instead of me looking at my blogs like they are the lonely people at a party, standing in the corner of the room, my blogs are now cubes, with dimension. They take up space, but not negative space, and so I shall now be referring to my spaces on the internet as cubes.
Right, back to the welcoming of the new humans. Hello! You are currently reading this blog post on one of my internet cubes, you can find the other cube HERE! I'm not quite sure what spiked the sudden interest of my internet cubes; I think it might have to do with the fact that Venus is out of phase in Leo; my 4th house, but quite frankly I'm still a bit befuddled by my few moments of blogging success regardless of whether they are somehow linked to my horoscope and the stars and the moons...
As for myself, my name is Ellen (although many call me Melon) and I live near London! I love to read, to write, to cook. I love makeup, clothes, photography and a lot of other things too. Blogging for me is very much a creative outlet where I am able to express some of my loves. Watching my blog grow has been a wonderful experience, and I hope this little acknowledgement of its growth shows how grateful I am that people take time out of their day to pay my blogs a quick visit. I am truly grateful xx
My internet cubes, aka 'blogs' don't have a strong sense of direction. In fact, as far as I'm aware, they don't have any direction whatsoever. I tend to write about what I want to write about and do what I want with my blog posts so sometimes things can seem a little all over the place. The only thing that's constant is my blogging schedule; alternate Sunday's on each blog, and during the summer - every Tuesday on Paint The Roses Red and every Friday on My Imagination on Paper.
I'm not quite sure what else I have to say concerning new humans, other than I really hope you like my blogs and I really hope that you stick around. So I guess that's it. I hope you feel like you have received a moderately adequate welcome and I shall greet you again with my blogging presence on Friday on my second blog.
Au Revoir, as the French like to say...
