Bond in Motion

14:18

Decades ago in February, I visited the Bond in Motion exhibition at the London Film Museum in Covent Garden. The exhibition showcases the largest official collection of original James Bond vehicles as well as props and costumes from all 24 movies.

As well as the cast of Spectre being showcased on the walls, there were tons of props and vehicles from the older movies as well as the more recent films.

Next to each displayed smashed up car, there were cinema screens showing clips from the films where that specific car had been used.

A lot of the cars that had been used for stunts were on full display and information about each car was shown on little screens that popped up every now and then.

At the start of the exhibition, there were original sketches for scenes on storyboards and original copies of a few of the scripts as well as clapper boards from 1995 and concept art.

Costumes were also on display, the most recognisable of which, being Madeleine Swann's white playsuit which she wore playing Lea Seydoux in the scenes set in the Sahara Desert in Spectre.

The exhibition has been the most successful in the history of the London Film Museum and is home to over 150 artefacts; definitely worth a visit if you're a fan of James Bond. xx
